Say Hi to Junk Jodie!

Jodie created the persona Junk Jodie in 2015, following a dynamic background as a performer and visual artist. Her journey began with training in Physical Theatre at East 15 Acting School, complemented by vocational studies in Art and Design. Junk Jodie was born from a deep love of colour, craft, storytelling, theatre—and a cushion business she started in her loft called Love to Clash, which caught the attention of Proteus Theatre Company and led to school workshops. Through this, she discovered the treasure troves of scrap stores, and her imagination was bouncing off the walls! Jodie envisioned a persona that would weave together her artistic passions with her commitment to environmental education, sustainability, mindfulness, and well-being.
